Column 5 Vodka

What is a column still?

In the early 1800s, a number of different scientists, engineers, and businessmen contributed to a variety of different continuous distillation apparatus. One being the column still. A column still is a variety of still consisting of two columns. Column still can produce rectified spirit up ninety-five percent ABV.

Column stills never quit, and we like to think it’s because they love what they do

They mightn't been born out of a need for efficiency – but over time they’ve come to represent so much more: a love of one’s craft and a never-ending progression toward creating something better. The same sentiment rings true in our distillery today.

FREEDOM. SPIRIT. PRIDE. FLAVOR.
